Features
Frame Design
The Crystal snowshoes are constructed with a one-piece aircraft aluminum frame. This model has been designed with lighter weight tubing using the highest grade 6063 alloy. The beautiful anodized frame colors glow in the snow and add a little sparkle to your winter adventures. The Crystal has a rockered profile for maneuverability.
Ultra-Lite Flex Deck
The Crystal model is built with Ultra-Lite Polyethylene deck material which has been trimmed down to reduce weight. The decks are contour wrapped directly around the tubular frame to reduce the weight of the snowshoe. The front of the snowshoe is covered with a high-grade PE deck material strong enough to break your own trails through the woods.
Upgraded Hardware
All Summit snowshoes are carefully assembled with aluminum and stainless-steel hardware which is much stronger and will never degrade or corrode from extended use. Most of the components are attached with nuts and bolts so they are easier to replace without special tools. We stock replacement parts for every model – call us for service.
ZE Lock Ratchet Binding
The Crystal snowshoes are engineered with our newest innovation and the best way to secure a snowshoe to your winter footwear. The pliable polyurethane binding sleeve wraps the boot and holds your foot in place. A third ratchet strap secures the heel area and locks you into the binding. All binding straps have a quick release mechanism.
Sure-Grip Crampons
These aluminum crampons are a laser-cut design with a narrower grip pattern to reduce weight and travel more efficiently over hard packed trails. The side teeth help prevent side slippage when traversing across uneven terrain. The pivot strap is built width a double layer of Hypalon material for extra strength and durability.
Free Storage Bag
This model includes a well-designed storage bag constructed with heavy Cordura nylon which is reinforced in the binding area. The bag is vented so your snowshoes will dry out quickly. We use heavy nylon webbing for carrying straps along with the adjustable shoulder strap. The 2-way zipper makes it easy to stow away your snowshoes after each use.
